MİNT Çağlayan developed by Mint as an urban transformation project and designed by AS / OS Architecture, is a high-rise residential project consisting of 129 flats in the heart of Istanbul.
An environmentally conscious approach has been adopted throughout the life cycle of the project, from recycling waste during the construction process to electrically operated cars with charging stations that residents can rent.
MINT Çağlayan utilizes high-performance glass that maximizes natural daylight and limits energy required for heating and cooling. Other solutions include LED lighting and water-saving fixtures. Care has been taken to reduce energy by selecting sustainable building materials such as autoclaved aerated concrete blocks.
Each household will save approximately $26 per month on utility costs.
Reduced window-to-wall ratio, roof and exterior wall insulation, high performance glass, energy-efficient lighting systems for interiors, common areas and outdoor venues, and solar hot water collectors.
WATER
Low-flow shower heads, low-flow faucets in kitchens and bathrooms, and double-flush toilet bowls.
MATERIALS
Concrete filler slab for roof construction, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks for interior and exterior walls and UPVC window frames.
